12ALL ARE WELCOME!

The Diocese of Fond du Lac’s Summer Camp is a unique opportunity to learn more about God, about community, and have a lot of fun! Camps are open for people of all ages. Folks from age 4 through graduating 12th graders attend as campers. Adults participate as volunteer staff. People of all faith traditions are welcome to attend.

1PROGRAM AND ACTIVITIES...

The camp program focuses on faith development. There are a variety of activities too, such as arts & crafts, campfires, swimming, Frisbee golf, field games, drama, boating, singing, games, storytelling, nature hikes, sky gazing, and kite flying.

10FACILITIES & STAFF…

All camp sessions are held at Camp Lakotah, about 35 miles west of Oshkosh near Wautoma, Wisconsin. Camp Lakotah is nestled in a majestic pine and oak wood on Little Hills Lake. This site offers rustic, yet cozy cabin accommodations, a sand beach, open fields, and modern facilities for both meals and group activities. Camp Lakotah’s staff provides food service, maintenance and waterfront staff.

2The summer camp staff are volunteers committed to Christian formation and camper safety. They plan the program and run the activities. All receive training in emergency procedures and child abuse prevention. From high school youth who work with younger campers, to those ‘older’ adults who work with all ages, each volunteer brings wonderful gifts and experience to camp. Many staff were once campers at a previous diocesan camp and want to share their experience by serving others.
