ALL ARE WELCOME!

The Diocese of Fond du Lac Summer Camp is for kids age 4 through graduating 12th graders. Young people of all faith traditions are encouraged and welcome to attend. No effort is made to “convert” kids to be Episcopalian. Adults may participate as volunteer staff. Camp is an opportunity for campers and staff to learn more about God, about themselves and to have fun!

ACTIVITIES

Activities include: arts & crafts, campfires, swimming, archery, frisbee golf, field games, drama, boating, singing, prayer, worship, games, storytelling, nature hikes, and kite flying.

FACILITIES & STAFF

All camp sessions are held at Camp Lakotah, nestled in the 126 acre majestic pine and oak woods on Little Hills Lake near Wautoma, WI. The camp is located approximately 35 miles west of Oshkosh off Highway 21. Camp Lakotah has both rustic and cozy cabin accommodations and a sandy beach which provides access to all types of waterfront fun. For more information, visit camplakotah.com.

Session Staff are volunteers who are committed to both Christian formation and camper safety. These volunteers plan the program and activities and are trained in both emergency procedures and child abuse prevention. From the high school youth, who volunteer to work with younger campers, to those ‘older’ adults who, work with all ages, each volunteer brings a variety of gifts and experience to each session. Many of the staff members were once campers at previous diocesan camps themselves and wish to share their experience by serving others.

SUPPORT CAMP

We need your help to make camp as successful as possible. Would you please:

  1. PRAY: for the campers, the volunteer staff and the staff of Camp Lakotah.
  2. VOLUNTEER: There are many volunteer staff opportunities. Contact us for a volunteer staff application form.
  3. CONTRIBUTE: Send a camper to camp, or maybe fund a scholarship for someone unable to afford the cost of a camp session. The Diocese of Fond du Lac is a 501(c)(3) religious organization and such gifts are tax-deductible.
