The Constitution and Canons Committee is established under the authority of Diocesan Canon 3.5. The purpose of the Committee is to review the Constitution and Canons of the Diocese to consider proposals to the Diocesan Convnetion for amendments. The Committee meets as necessary and provides advice to the Bishop and the various committees and commissions of the Diocese. At each Annual Convention the members of the Committee are appointed, consisting of three members of the Clergy and two members of the laity, together with the Chancellor of the Diocese, ex-officio. The members shall hold office for one year, or until their successors are appointed.
