The Rt. Rev. Russell E. Jacobus announced his resination effective October 2013 and called for the election of the Eighth Bishop of Fond du Lac. The Standing Committee is engaged in the search process.
Nominations are Closed
The Standing Committee received over 30 nominations and are now in the process of review and interviews to select candidates for election. The Standing Committee will put forth a slate of names of candidates for the electing convention to consider in mid-August. Decisions will be based on prayerful discernment, discussions and interviews with nominees and insights gathered from focus groups of the diocese. Learn more about the process here.

-Responsible for aspects of the electing convention, “walk abouts”, celebration of ministry of retiring bishop, support for bishop-elect, spouse and family, and aspects of the ordination.
