Celebrating  our lives together in Christ
The Holy Eucharist has been the central act of worship in the Christian community from the time Christ celebrated his Last Supper with his disciples and commanded that they continue to "do this" in remembrance of him.

Not only is the Eucharist ancient, it is fundamentally simple. The Liturgy has two distinct parts: The Word of God and The Holy Communion. The Word of God includes a series of scripture readings, a sermon, the recitation of the Nicene Creed, the Prayers of the People, and the Peace. The Holy Communion includes the Eucharistic prayer in which the priest recites the story of our creation and redemption, recalling particularly the events of the Last Supper and the death and resurrection of Jesus. This portion of the Liturgy culminates in the faithful reception of Christ's body and blood.

We include hymns for good measure and to lift up our hearts. The occasion is both solemn and delightful.
